Here at gaycumbria, we endeavour to help your with as much as we possibly can. However, there are times when only professional help will do. We have listed below a range of help and support services that are available to you. If you know of a service but we have not included it in our list then please don’t hesitate to let us know and we will add it to this page. All details are as up to date as we can get and we apologise if any services change.

Cumbria Rape Crisis
Cumbria Rape Crisis is a voluntary organisation, which offers support to all adults aged 16 or over who have been affected by rape, sexual abuse or assault at any time in their lives. Support is offered to the main individual affected, and additionally to partners, other family members and friends
We understand that rape, sexual abuse or assault can completely alter your life and that at times you may find it difficult to cope.
We know how difficult it can be to talk to someone about what is happening to you.
Whatever your circumstances, if you feel you need someone to talk to, we are here to help.

Monday 1.00pm – 3.00pm
Tuesday 10.00am – 12.00am
Thursday 7.00pm – 9.00pm
An answerphone is on at all other times.
